Yo...In my day it was Mick Jagger and Steve Martin.

You'd think they'd be happy with Matthew Modine and Ryan Gosling, ferchrissake.

I went to priesthood meeting with Private Joker. First, my mistake it was actually WMA not WMG.

Both the Founders originally worked on the Primerica company together until it was sold, and then there was a falling out, and one of them then left and form WMA.

Neither of the two men's biograph mentions any LDS ties, missions or anything like that. I suspect they may be as LDS as Lionel Ritchie and Amy Grant.Urban Kodahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01327437055164051853noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29111830.post-27482250622530083072009-08-18T08:22:24.703-06:002009-08-18T08:22:24.703-06:00"The founder of WMG has exactly the same cred..."The founder of WMG has exactly the same credentials - wonder if it's the same guy?!?!"

I wouldn't be surprised. I tend to think it's more they see an asset capable of building them capital...

I've screwed up my life, but DS is successful, and with this winning, can't fail scheme, he could go all the way - and since he's in my downline... I could go all the way too!!!

I love the Mormon references they use too... Apparently the founder of Primerica is a member of the Church - served as a mission president too!!! The founder of WMG has exactly the same credentials - wonder if it's the same guy?!?!Urban Kodahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01327437055164051853noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29111830.post-55306273745561527242009-08-18T08:04:17.202-06:002009-08-18T08:04:17.202-06:00I wish I had a dollar for every time I've been...I wish I had a dollar for every time I've been pitched for a pyramid scheme, I'd have enough money to invest in Primerica or get a nice condo at Tahiti Village, Las Vegas' newest premiere resort!!!

I guess people percieve me to be a complete idiot. There's a guy in our neighborhood who was heavily involved in multiple schemes, all of which were dealt major blows when the economy went south. He lost 2 houses and all of his vehicles. Thing is, he was one of these 'keep up with the Joneses' people, so he'd still dress really nice and carry around his iPhone, even though his service had been cancelled.

You'd think he might have learned his lesson from all of this. Nope. I get an email from him a month or so later pitching reverse auctions (the new craze in ponzi, err, "multilevel" businesses).

I have some relatives who got really involved in Quixtar, a multilevel online "convenience store" that duped many in the Mormon market by advertising itself as a precursor to the United Order (they didn't exactly say that, but the language they used during pitches conveyed that thought really well).

We were really close with these relatives until they pitched us. TRIED to pitch us, that is. I may look like an idiot, but I'm not one, and they didn't get past the first pre-pitch sentence (like "so have you tried the access bar?") before I shut them down. Haven't spoken with them since.

I don't get offended very easily, but if you're a friend or family, one surefire way to destroy a relationship with me is to pull a pyramid scheme on me.D. Turns out MZ just returned from a big Convention in Florida and was told that the head sales team over the next 6 weeks gets an all inclusive vacation to the Caribbean - SHOCKER!!!Urban Kodahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01327437055164051853noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29111830.post-67779461418098046712009-08-17T18:57:26.432-06:002009-08-17T18:57:26.432-06:00facebook has been something of a mixed bag for me ...facebook has been something of a mixed bag for me too. It put me back in touch with some very dear childhood friends, and has at times added plenty of drama to my otherwise quiet life that I'd been better off without.

One thing that is possible is the assignment of such annoying pests to various groups in the chat app. You can be available to the people who don't constantly spam you and invisible to the time-wasters. It works well for me.Grégoirehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13610633478542798268noreply@blogger.com
